scheduling & promotion: Mission Statement
The Scheduling & Promotion Office provides the College community with an online calendar system, better communication surrounding campus events, and leadership in resolving facility scheduling conflicts. To achieve these objectives the Scheduling and Promotions office collaborates with offices and individuals throughout the College community.
Goals for the 2007-08 academic year: develop, adapt, and maintain a single online calendar of College events in order to ensure appropriate coordination and logistics surrounding each event. Develop and apply a comprehensive means of organizing and communicating the college calendar.
A first step this academic term is the development of a comprehensive way to organize the 22 different calendars currently used on this campus. That’s right, 22 calendars! As of October 1, 2007 the new calendar count is 26! The newly updated Event Planning Calendar, (entries in RED are new listings), is an attempt to combine these calendars; creating a comprehensive single source event calendar for the coming academic year
