The Chinese New Year, also known as the Lunar New Year, begins on Monday, January 23. Each Chinese New Year is symbolized by a new animal zodiac, determined by a 12-year cycle. This year is the year of the Dragon, which is a symbol of good fortune and intense power in Eastern culture. For the next two weeks, Chinese New Year will be welcomed in Chinese communities with two weeks of food, firecrackers and celebration to ensure that the Year of the Dragon is full of good fortune.

According to the International Business Times, the Year of the Dragon is one of the most revered years of the Chinese New Year calendar. If you haven't done so, start the New Year off right and move forward on the MBA degree you've always wanted.
