Tokens
What in the world are tokens and what are they used for?
A token is the code that "tells" the form to display the what the user types into a particular field For example, if you want your email to say "Dear Barack" instead of "Dear Student", you would use this token in the Email Template:
Dear [submission:values:first_name:key]
(first_name is the field key for First Name on my form.)
You can display the date with [current-date:long]. (No field key needed).
To display all the field label and values: [submission:values]
How to insert a token in an email
- Place your cursor where you want the token in the email. Then click TOKEN VALUES. You will see a list of different types of tokens.
- Click "Submissions" at the bottom of the list. You will see a list of tokens. Click on the one you want. It will be inserted where you placed your cursor above. If ther is a "?" in the token, replace the "?" with the field key of the component.

Some useful components:
To display the component value:
Here is an example. I want to display the value for my "First Name" field. The field key is "first_name".
[submission:values:first_name] will display the component label and value: First Name: Barack
[submission:values:first_name:key] will display: Barack
[submission:values:first_name:nolabel] will display the component value only: Barack
