Kennedy Center Theater Festival Honors Five from SMC

The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival presented distinguished achievement awards to five members of the Saint Mary’s community for their work on recent college theatrical productions.

Saint Mary’s is at the heart of some of the most captivating and cutting-edge art, music, dance, theater and literature in the world: around the Bay and right here on campus.

Saint Mary’s offers a variety of opportunities to engage your creative side, from day trips and individual classes in film to academic majors and minors in Art and Art History and in Performing Arts: Dance, Music, and Theatre.  There is also an undergraduate minor in Creative Writing.

Explore current campus exhibits at the Saint Mary's College Museum of Art or hear contemporary writers discussing their work in the Creative Writing Reading Series and Afternoon Craft Conversations sponsored by the MFA in Creative Writing Program.  Read work from established and emerging writers in the MFA Program's literary journal Mary.

If you’re an artist yourself, you can expect individualized attention as a student on campus.  Perhaps you'll have your own work displayed at Gallery 160 or performed in LeFevre Theatre. Take inspiration from the world-renowned Bay Area art scene.
