Welcome to the SMCMoA!
The Saint Mary's College Museum of Art (SMCMoA) is home to over 4,000 pieces of art, ranging from William Keith's early California landscapes to Andy Warhol's polaroids. We are open Wednesdays to Sundays 11:00 to 4:30. We are located directly behind the Chapel on campus. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call us at (925)-631-4363.
The Museum will re-open on April 19, with all new exhibitions! Visual Language: Mystery and Meaning (April 19-June 21) presents the works of three Bay Area artists: Cheryl Calleri, Christel Dillbohner, and Thekla Hammond. Recently donated by the Andy Warhol Foundation, the Saint Mary's Museum will display its newest permanent collection pieces in Andy Warhol: Prints, Polaroids and Pop (April 19-June 14). The annual Saint Mary's College Art Student Exhibition will display the works of three senior art students as well as work from both the Art and Art History departments (April 19-May 16). On display in the William Keith Room are the less-shown darker William Keith's. With elements of the old European masters and Keith's new religious experiences, these paintings cannot be missed!
Thank you for your interest and we hope to see you soon!
