Saint Mary’s is what you make it. So get involved! We have student groups devoted to interests like environmentalism, social justice and Latin American culture. With over 40 student organizations, you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a passion project.

But we’ve heard it can be tough to narrow down your list. Here’s what we suggest:

  • First figure out what makes you happy.
  • Are you a policy enthusiast? If so, you should definitely look into our student senate or Peer Council.
  • More of a social justice advocate? Then the Intercultural Center, CILSA (the Catholic Institute for Lasallian Social Action) or one of our Student Awareness/Activism clubs might be more up your alley.
  • Need a job? Working on campus is another way to get involved (and help pay your expenses at the same time).

Now, forge ahead into uncharted territory.

You might find out you love planning weekend activities with our Campus Activities Board or exploring what leadership means to you during our leaders’ retreats.

Who knows where SMC will take you? All we know is you should definitely dive in — it’s worth it.
