An associate professor in SMC's Justice, Community and Leadership department, Monica Fitzgerald can address news issues relating to U.S women's and gender history, politics, U.S. early American history, and the Puritans.

Monica FitzgeraldFitzgerald teaches courses on social justice, US history, and Gender Studies. Her research includes early American history, with a focus on the Puritans and gender, religion and identity in early New England. She also studies second wave femninism, women in politics, and the women's movement.
