Workshop Description: What does it mean to be “in the moment” or “of the moment?”
In this highly experiential day, we start with an exercise that will help you notice the moment, be in the moment, and tap the power of the moment. Based on the practice of meditation, this simple and powerful exercise is useful for many areas essential to leadership: decision making, reducing stress, being responsive, being present (for yourself and others) and developing presence.
We then move from presence to purpose, exploring how being in the moment can help you discover what truly inspires you—your momentous potential—and liberate momentum.
In the afternoon, we use the “Open Space” facilitation process as a model for liberating momentum in large groups or organizations. You will continue to explore your own momentum, but will also have the chance to examine points of “stuckness” in your organization, and learn how this process can liberate momentum in your colleagues, team, organization, and community.
