Oakland Tribune Captures SMC Students Exploring East Bay for Jan Term Travel Writing Class
The Oakland Tribune photographs several members of a Saint Mary's Jan Term travel writing class during a recent visit to the Redwood Regional Park in Oakland. The SMC students were on a field trip for the "Around the World in 16 Days" January Term course, taught by Ginny Prior. The course asks students to explore and write about San Francisco, Napa/Sonoma, the San Mateo Coast and the East Bay Regional Parks. While at the Redwood Regional Park, students photographed a group of llamas brought to the area by George Caldwell of Sonora.
