the parent & family association
What is the Parent and Family Association?
The Parent and Family Association assists the College in achieving its goals with respect to the education and development of all its students. It accomplishes this by facilitating communication between families and Saint Mary’s College and encouraging mutual understanding; promoting parent and family participation in their student’s experience; and fostering a sense of community within the College. You only need to sign up once -- membership in the Parent and Family Association lasts throughout your student’s experience as a Gael!
What are the benefits of being a member?
Your participation will provide you not only with the opportunity to stay abreast of what’s happening at Saint Mary’s, but will also allow you to meet other great parents and share your experiences. You will receive:
- a bi-annual parent newsletter;
- automatic enrollment in online emailing group;
- the opportunity to advise juniors and seniors on their future vocation through the Career Connection program
- special invitations to volunteer at campus events.
Who can join?
The Parent and Family Association is open to all family members. Whether you are local or long distance, we welcome your involvement with the college. There is no cost to sign up and your membership last throughout your student’s undergraduate experience at Saint Mary’s!
