11/19/2011-The Saint Mary’s College Rugby Alumni Association hosted the fourth annual Pat Vincent Dinner Dance and Fundraiser on Saturday, November 19, 2011. More than 250 alumni, parents, friends, coaches and rugby players attended the event in the Soda Center which raised more than $70,000 to benefit three Saint Mary’s College Rugby funds including the Rugby Club Travel Fund, the Pat Vincent Endowment, and the recently created Dan Otter Rugby Scholarship Fund.
Guests had the opportunity to interact with this year’s team and hear from Head Coach Tim O’Brien about their preparations for another successful season. The evening included two raffles, both a silent and a live auction and a presentation of the Pat Vincent Lifetime Achievement Award to Bob Schnetz ’60. The evening ended with live music entertainment by Butch Whacks and the Glass Packs.
