  • Prof. Rokeach's music has been performed throughout the United States, Europe and Australia. He has been commissioned to write music for the California Music Educators Association, the Left Coast Ensemble, Northeastern University School of Music and the California Association of Professional Music Teachers.

  • First prize in New York's Cygnus Ensemble Competition - (1998)

Honors:

  • Concerto for Piccolo and Orchestra - Oakland East Bay Symphony (November 2015)
    I have accepted an invitation from the Oakland East Bay Symphony to compose a concerto for piccolo and orchestra.
  • Multiple music compositions - multiple (January 2014)
    Multiple compositions including Running at the Top of the World, Ninth Avenue Hustle, Going Up?, Fantasy on Twelve Strings, Six Questions, Sleepless Night, Delicate Fear, have been recently performed by soloists and touring ensembles in Ohio, Texas, Maine, Massachusetts, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, upstate New York, Philadelphia, Berkeley, and Santiago Chile.
  • Running at the Top of the World - Ellsworth-Smith Inernational Trumpet Competition (September 2012)
    All eight finalists, representing five countries, in the trumpet world's most prestigious competition were required to play "Running at the Top of the World" before a panel of international judges.
  • Honorable Mention - 2001 International Clarinet Association Competition (2001)
