What: Hip Hop historian, journalist, deejay, and community activist Davey D, joins us as a featured speaker in support of the January Term theme "Against the Grain." Davey D's speaking topics range from Hip Hop Politics to bridging the Digital Divide.

Who: is the co-founder of the Bay Area Hip Hop Coalition, a member of the Bay Area Black Journalist Association, and a regular contributor to KALX, KPFA and KMEL radio.
