Power Outage May Affect Availability of Services
Due to technical issues affecting network and server hardware during the scheduled power outages this Sunday, many network applications and services such as BlackBoard, Colleague/GaelXpress and on-line Library services will be unavailable, or will be subject to interruption, after 6 AM and extending until after power is restored at 1 PM. We are sorry for the inconvenience this interruption may cause you.
We plan to maintain the internet connection for the Main, Wireless and Residential networks (in buildings unaffected by the electrical outage), and the external www.stmarys-ca.edu web site.
Since both the Library and Garaventa Hall will not have power during the 7 AM to 1 PM electrical outage, CaTS will have a small ad-hoc Computer lab available for student use in Dryden Hall during the outage. Limited printing services will also be available at that location.
Please be sure to turn off your personal computer workstation before you leave for the weekend, or, if you are on campus on Sunday, before 7 AM and again before the second general power interruption at 1 PM.
