Professor Explains CIA Choice to Reveal Past Abuses

Saint Mary's College Politics Professor David Alvarez was interviewed by KCBS Radio about the CIA's decision to declassify top-secret records of the intelligence agency's illegal abuses between the 1950s and 1970s. Alvarez, an expert on the CIA, said the documents will include details about the surveillance of journalists, members of Congress and anti-war groups as well as assassination attempts on Fidel Castro.
