Saint Mary's College Athletic Director Mark Orr was featured in a San Francisco Chronicle story about his new position and his "uncommon" commitment to the college.

The article noted that Orr, 30, is the youngest athletic director at a Division I school and one of the few African Americans to hold the position. Orr replaced Carl Clapp in March.

"I have a passion for Saint Mary's College," Orr was quoted as saying. "It is the place where I've dreamed about being."
