Saint Mary's College of California hosts the Western Psychology Conference for Undergraduate Research.

This year marks the 43rd Anniversary of the conference, the previous years having been hosted by our colleagues at Santa Clara University.

The conference provides a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to gain valuable experience presenting their research in a professional setting. It also affords them the opportunity to meet with other students and faculty members who share their interests. Students are rewarded with valuable feedback from professionals about their research, thus contributing to their future success as psychologists.

Teaching and students are at the core of our mission as educators. The conference reflects the College's ongoing commitment of providing students a transformative education that encourages critical thinking and the critical use of language in writing and speech. It is through this close examination, analysis and discussion of their topic that students become disciplined, expansive thinkers.
