Participate in the Class Reunion Gift!
Your gift will go a long way in providing to current and future Gaels the same wonderful Saint Mary’s experience that we were so lucky to have had. Join in the tradition. Celebrate our past. Shape the future.
Your Reunion Committee especially recommends gifts to:
The New Library and Learning Commons
By expanding and adapting the library’s space and collections, improving individual and collaborative study space and acoustics and enhancing support for student and faculty researchers, today’s students will have the space and resources required for a 21st-century educational experience.
One of your classmates has issued a challenge by offering to match 2-to-1 any and all gifts made by members of the Classes of ’76, ’77, and ’78 to the Library and Learning Commons building project up to $1,000,000. This challenge has been made in honor of two beloved individuals: Father Patrick LaBelle ’61 and Brother Patrick Moore, FSC ’62.
The Family Endowed Scholarship
Established by various classmates from the Classes of ’76, ’77, and ’78, this endowed scholarship is awarded to upper-division students who have demonstrated leadership in the promotion of student social activities.
Make your gift online to make an immediate difference: select Reunion 2012 Campaigns and the area of your choice.
Class Giving as of 7/19/12:
1976: 26 Gifts / 13.40% participation / $12,300
1977: 41 Gifts / 19.43 % participation / $224,993
1978: 39 Gifts / 15% participation / $42,852
Why is Alumni Participation Important?
The collective support of alumni provides critical funding for student
scholarships and strengthens all aspects of the unique Saint Mary's educational experience. Alumni participation also affects both the College’s ability to receive grant support from foundations and corporations and is used to determine Saint Mary's' national rankings in publications such as Forbes and U.S. News and World Report. Show your pride in SMC by making a gift in honor of our 35-year reunion!
