The names of these headers pretty much sum it up. Two images or three images, with the ability to add captions.
The double and triple image headers (seen below) are two of the header templates available for area landing pages. Each area of the website can have one area landing page header, and the header only displays on the landing page for that area. See steps below for adding one of these headers to your area landing page.
For each item in the header, you will need to collect the following:
- An image 300px wide by 320px tall or, if using the double image header, then the larger image should be 617px wide by 320px tall
- A title
- A short caption for the item (optional, about 100 characters or less for small images, 200 or less for a larger image)
- A link (optional) of where the visitor can read more
For these image headers, you can display either two or three items at one time. Your can have captions that display all the time, captions that only display when you roll over an image, or no captions at all. You can link to pages, or to any of the other content types available in the system (image galleries, stories, videos, etc.). Or you can link to nothing at all. The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Once you have all of the above information, contact Sandy Mallalieu at firstname.lastname@example.org. She'll set up a one-on-one workshop to load all of your information into the system and make it live on your page. Eventually, you'll be able to add/change/remove headers with ease. But, for now, the process is such that it's easier to do the work together.
