Twenty-one science students from Osaka University came to Moraga from September 6 to 27 for a Science and Society Seminar program that emphasized their English speaking skills.
Pi Day, which took place on March 14, 2011, began calmly with fun experiments like Buffon's Needle and a stroll on the lawn that yielded Pi, but things got wilder during the pie-throwing that's a tradition at Saint Mary's.

We provide state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment, interdisciplinary classes, close faculty-student interaction and a global network of researchers and scholars. The School of Science offers the degree of Bachelor of Science in seven major fields.
You’ll begin with fundamental science principles and liberal arts courses, moving on to intensive lab work, collaborative research with faculty, mastery of current technology and special features like the 3+2 Engineering Program.
You can spend 10 weeks in close collaboration with a faculty advisor on a self-designed research project, or join summer research programs at colleges and universities across the country. The Bay Area also has a wealth of internship opportunities at science and technology companies.
