Computer Labs and Classrooms
IT Services maintains all technology in classrooms and computer labs. For an overview of what technology is available in your classroom, please visit the Classroom Technology Map.
If your classroom is not listed, or if you wish to use addditional technology, please make a request for projectors etc. at least 3 business days before you want to use the software. You can use the Media Reservation Request for for this purpose.
In addition to supporting all computer labs on campus, IT Services maintains one computer lab and a large number of workstations in the Library (St. Albert's Hall) for community access*. You will find both Macs and PCs for students, staff and faculty to use during Library opening hours.
The IT Services community access computer lab is in the Service Desk area. The computer lab hours may be extended during mid-term, pre-final, and final exam periods. Hours are subject to change, especially during Holidays, Academic Recess, and Community Time.
All computers print through GaelPrint to high volume black & white or color laser printers.
Please call the Service Desk at extension 4266 if you have questions about the community accessible workstations or the IT Services Computer Lab in the Library.
* Use of computers requires a valid SMC user name and password. There are a few workstations available in the Library that can be used by the general public.
