A Saint Mary's College community forum on the global banking crisis is featured in the Lamorinda Sun. Interviewed by the Contra Costa Times' local edition for the Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda areas, Jim Hawley, co-director of the Elfenworks Center for the Study of Fiduciary Capitalism, explains the forum is a public outreach component of an Oct. 5-7 investors conference sponsored by the Elfenworks Center and the School of Economics and Business Administration.
The featured speaker at the free Oct. 6 public forum, "Global solutions for a global problem? Has the world really learned the lessons from the banking crisis of 2008-09?" is Philip Augar, a Financial Times contributor and author of several books on finance and the global banking crisis. The forum takes place Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. in the Soda Center.
