SMC Rugby Launches Season in Provo, Utah

Nov. 7, 2008--The SMC Men's Rugby team departed on Friday morning (by bus at 4:00am) for a weekend tour in Provo, Utah. The team launched their season with a 6:00pm match against Utah Valley (W, 31-22 ) and a 7:30pm scrimmage with BYU.
Saturday morning, SMC played University of Utah's first and second side (T, 24-24). To close out the weekend, the team attended the U.S. Select XV Team versus New Zealand Heartland and USA vs Uruguay Rugby double header at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, UT.
