Theology and Religious Studies Professor David Gentry-Akin was a featured commentator during Vatican Radio's televised broadcast coverage of Pope Francis' Holy Mass in St Peter's Basilica on Sunday, February 2, 2014. Gentry Akin commented on the pope's homily about the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus at the Temple, which commemorates when Joseph and Mary brought the infant Jesus to the temple forty days after his birth. Gentry-Akin is visiting Rome with an adult group from Stockton and Father Sal Ragussa, who is on sabbatical.
