The Associated Students of Saint Mary's College (ASSMC) is the voice of the student body and works with the College administration to take an active role in deciding policies and priorities.
Under the governance of the ASSMC Constitution, the senate oversees and distributes an annual budget that supports more than 40 student organizations, student media and publications, recreational sports, campus-wide events, and student initiatives. ASSMC is made up of the Executive Board and the General Senate. Each class is represented by seven senators elected each academic year.
