Under the governance of the ASSMC Constitution, the Senate oversees and distributes an annual budget that supports more than 40 student organizations, student media and publications, recreational sports,  campus-wide events, and student initiatives. ASSMC is made up of the Executive Board, the General Senate, and the Judicial Tribunal. In the Genral Senate, each class is represented by one Chair, one Vice-Chair, and three senators, elected each academic year.
