Peer Council
The Peer Council is a three component (peer conduct, leadership skills, and shared experiences) leadership formation program. Designed to combine critical thinking skills with opportunities to participate in leadership programs, the Peer Council is an opportunity to discover personal leadership styles while helping other students make ethical and responsible decisions.
Members
The Peer Council is comprised of approximately fifteen (15) students. Community Life determines membership from applications submitted by students. Students may be recommended for application through the President of the ASSMC, Resident Advisors, faculty and/or staff.
What is the time commitment?
Members' time commitment to the Peer Council will vary depending on activities and the member’s schedule, however, participants can expect to dedicate roughly three to five hours per month to Peer Council activities.
