Housing Guarantee:

Current first-year students who live on campus are guaranteed housing for their sophomore year if they meet the housing deposit deadline and complete the Housing Room Selection Process. 

Current sophomore and junior students enter the Housing Room Selection Process (lottery style) for the chance to receive on-campus housing.  If the student receives on-campus housing through the selection process, they then pay the housing deposit to secure the space.

Housing Room Selection Process

The Housing Room Selection Process opens January 30, 2013.

Continuing students who do not participate in the Housing Room Selection Process but would like housing for the next academic year may request to be added to the Fall Housing Waitlist by contacting the Campus Housing Office.  When space becomes available students will be contacted via phone and SMC e-mail.  If housing is offered, students are generally given 24 hours to accept or decline.  If accepted, they then pay the housing deposit.
