Transfer students have a program tailored specifically for them. During sessions you will cover your degree audit, create an academic plan, and have your questions answered. Faculty, staff and current transfer students will be available to share opportunities for involvement as a continuing student at Saint Mary’s. Please note that you only need to attend ONE of the sessions.
All students are charged a one-time $250 Orientation fee applied directly to their student account. The fee covers all costs associated with Orientation, administrative needs, materials, food, and staffing.
Parent and Family Program
The continued involvement of parent and family members is crucial to the success of college students. Each new student is encouraged to bring up to two family members to participate in the orientation’s Parent and Family Program, which will allow families to learn about the various resources available in the campus community, meet College staff, and connect with parents of other new students. Family members should attend the same New Student Orientation session as their student.
