Orientation Leader
Orientation Leaders are undergraduates who, along with two Student Orientation Coordinators, assist the Director of New Student & Family Programs with the planning and implementation of Orientation Programs at Saint Mary’s College. Orientation Leaders facilitate various aspects of student and parent Orientation programs, manage events and mentor student volunteers during Weekend of Welcome, and serve as official representatives of the College. This program includes participation in the Orientation Leadership Seminar .25 course during Spring term and a 6-week full time commitment over the summer in June and August. Applications are available in October every year.
Weekend of Welcome Leaders
Weekend of Welcome Leaders are undergraduates who, along with two Student Orientation Coordinators, assist the Coordinator of New Student & Family Programs with implementing Weekend of Welcome at Saint Mary’s College. WOW Leaders serve as official representatives of the College, welcoming new students and their families into the campus community by facilitating participation in scheduled events and answering questions. Applications are available in March every year.
