On-Campus Accommodations
Saint Mary’s College offers overnight accommodations in one of our freshmen residence halls for students who are taking the Mathematics Diagnostic or Writing Placement exams. You will be housed with another incoming student for the night, and will receive your lodging assignment when you check-in for placement exams. Parents may also stay in the residence halls during the June sessions at $40/person for single occupancy or $35/person for double occupancy. Payment should be made when you arrive for Orientation.
All residence hall accommodations are furnished with a twin bed, dresser, desk, chair, and closet for each person, and a sink in each room. We do not offer air conditioned rooms, but June nights in Moraga are typically comfortable. Each floor has shared community restrooms and showers. Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow and toiletries for the evening.
Students (and their families) who are not scheduled to take a placement or diagnostic exam may stay in one of the local hotels in the surrounding area.
Local Hotels
There are a number of hotels in the surrounding area with varying price ranges. Many of the local accommodations offer discounts to Saint Mary's community members. Just ask for the Saint Mary's rate when calling for reservations.
