program dates
All new freshmen are required to attend one of the four Orientation sessions and the corresponding Testing Day, if applicable. Freshmen who live a reasonable distance from Saint Mary’s are expected to attend one of the June sessions, as the August program is reserved for out-of-state freshmen, all transfer students and international students. In the spirit of our Lasallian heritage, the weekend session was created for families whose work schedule makes attending Orientation during the week a hardship. The program will run from 8am-5:30pm and we ask that you make your travel plans accordingly. Please select one of the following four Orientation sessions.
Choose One:
| Session I: | Thursday, June 12, 2008 (Testing Day is Wednesday, June 11, 2008) |
| Session II: | Wednesday, June 18, 2008 (Testing Day is Tuesday, June 17, 2008) |
| Session III*: | Sunday, June 22, 2008 (Testing Day is Saturday, June 21, 2008) *For families whose work schedule makes attending orientation during the week a hardship. |

Freshman students who need to take the Mathematics Diagnostic Exam and/or the Writing Placement Exam must also attend Testing Day, the day prior to your Orientation session. To identify whether or not you need to plan on arriving a day early, please review the Placement Testing information as well as your personalized Registration Confirmation. Overnight accommodations are available to students who are taking the Mathematics Diagnostic or Writing Placement Exams.
