Saint Mary's College Of California

Central Campus

Central Campus is home to our first year students. These residence halls have a classic college feel. Read the descriptions of our central campus halls to find out more about each unique building.

Augustine Hall

One of the original residence halls where the campus radio station, KSMC, was once located, Augustine Hall is now home to four floors of first-year students—three floors of women and one floor of men. Augustine Hall is one of two halls (Aquinas Hall being the other) with an elevator.

Assumption Hall

While the Navy inhabited Saint Mary’s College, Assumption Hall housed the civilian students. Today, Assumption Hall is home to the Science & Honors theme living program.

Aquinas Hall

For 40 years, Aquinas Hall housed sophomore men living on campus. Today, it houses a mixture of first year and upperclass students. It is a suite style building, in which two rooms of students share one bathroom.

De La Salle Hall

Named after the found of the Christian Brothers, John Baptist De La Salle, De La Salle Hall houses one floor of men and two floors of women. Room types within De La Salle Hall vary—singles, doubles and triples. It is also the home of several Student life offices.

Justin & Mitty Halls

Composed of one floor women and one floor men, Justin and Mitty Halls are conveniently located next to their own sand volleyball and basketball courts and barbeque pits. These tight knit communities often participate in hall socials and activities together.
