Roommate Requests are due on or before July 1 via the online ROOMMATE PREFERENCE QUESTIONNAIRE. You may know your roommate(s) before move-in, but current students give this advice: Broaden your horizons and open your mind! Everyone is experiencing the same things you are!
Roommates are some of the most important people in life on campus! You' ll live together for the entire school year, and you may or may not be the best of friends, but each of you needs to respect the other. Tips for getting along:
- Keep a good attitude and be flexible
- Communicate (speak and listen)… a lot!
- Be neat and considerate
- Respect space, noise and privacy boundaries
- Give priority in your room to activities relating to education
- Don't borrow without permission
- Don't let visitors get bothersome
- Utilize campus resources & attend events!
