After-Hours Emergencies
In the event of an emergency when the Health Center is closed, go to the Emergency Room of the following hospital or the hospital of your choice.
John Muir Medical Center (925) 939-5800
1601 Ygnacio Valley Road, Walnut Creek, CA
Directions: Take Hwy. 24 East to Hwy. 680 North. Take the Ygnacio Valley Road exit and turn right on Ygnacio Valley Rd. Go approximately 2 miles to JMMC on the right.
Kaiser Hospital (925) 295-4820 (Kaiser members only)
1425 South Main Street, Walnut Creek, CA
Directions: Take Hwy. 24 East towards Walnut Creek and follow 680 South to San Jose. Take the South Main exit and turn left (under the freeway) onto south Main Street. Go about mile and turn left into the emergency room.
Alta Bates Hospital (510) 204-1303
1 Colby Plaza, Berkeley, CA
Directions: Take Hwy. 24 West through the Caldecott Tunnel. Take the Berkeley exit and follow Ashby Road, turn left on Colby Plaza about 2-3 blocks past College Ave.
Summit Medical Center
350 Hawthorne Ave, Oakland, CA
Directions: Take Hwy 24 West through Caldecott Tunnel, take the 27th Street exit, turn left at the first light. Continue on 27th Street for two blocks and turn left on Telegraph. Turn right on 34th, the hospital is at Hawthorne and Webster. Parking garage is on 34th Street.
In Case of Accident When Patient Should Not Be Moved:
- Call Moraga Paramedics at 911
- Notify Campus security ext. 4282 or 631-4282 and give location
- Station someone in front of your location to direct Paramedics to the emergency. Paramedics are only 5 minutes away.
