Peer Educators Network (PEN) are student leaders involved in health education and promotion programs. They are committed to creating an environment that actively encourages students to take responsibility for their health and well-being. It promotes a lifestyle that incorporates emotional, intellectual, physical, occupational, spiritual, and social well-being. The goal is the integration of mind, body and spirit.

PEN's mission is to actively promote peer education as an essential part of the health and wellness education of the SMC community. Their efforts focus on the development and promotion of positive lifestyles and responsible decision making.

PEN addresses issues which include alcohol and other drugs, body acceptance, sexual health, smoking cessation, stress management, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infection and more.
