Fifteen undergraduate students from India are exploring American-style business management and entrepreneurship during a two-week visit to Saint Mary's College of California.
The students are from the Pillai College of Arts, Science and Commerce and the Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research in Mumbai, India. Their visit between Feb. 23 and March 7 is hosted by the Saint Mary's School of Economics and Business Administration.
During their first week, the students' activities ranged from attending a men's basketball game to examining a strategic case study of Apple Computer. They also attended marketing classes and a seniors' honors forum with other Saint Mary's undergraduates.
They will delve further into Silicon Valley business strategies and new technology in tours of Apple Computer, the Intel Museum, Genentech, Microsoft and the Federal Reserve during their last week in the Bay Area.
