Students and Faculty interested in summer research projects should attend this event.
Many faculty members conduct research throughout the year, including over the summer. This event initiates a faculty/student mentorship: faculty will tell students about their research and students can decide if they would like to join them in a mentorship for a 10-week period during the summer. Likewise, if a student has interest in a specific project, there may be faculty present who would be interested in mentoring the student.
Summer Research Awards are competitive and require an application form, etc. This Program has been operating continuously since 1986 and the specialized research skills students learn over the summer can be applied in graduate school or in a research career position.
If you are interested in ressearch, please attend this event to learn more about the Summer Research Program.
