Come to hear about Lasallian Scholarship

For De La Salle week, there will be a faculty roundtable discussion on Lasallian research. Join us for this informal discussion on the connections between scholarship and the Lasallian principles -- social justice, concern for he poor and marginalized, education, respect for all persons & the environment. 

The International Association of Lasallian Universities has recently promoted targeted scholarship on education, sustainability, and water rights. At the Lasallian Research Symposium last fall, participants drafted the following Vision Statement:

Arising from our Lasallan identity, Lasallian research is dynamic, interdisciplinary, applied scholarship. In order to create a more just world, our scholarship endeavors to intervene, influence, and transforms society to foster human dignity and improve the quality of life for all God's creation.

Join Professors Raina Leon, Clifford Lee, Monica Fitzgerald, Rebecca Jabour, Aaron Sachs and Aeleah Soine who will share their Lasallian research and teaching experiences.

 Thursday, May 1st, 11:30 am-1pm in Hagerty Lounge, free luncheon will be provided.
