Hechinger Report Taps Communication's Dan Leopard for Story on MOOCs

The Hechinger Report, an education news website, interviewed Saint Mary's Communication Professor Dan Leopard for an article on MOOCs (Massive Online Open Courses). In the article "MOOCs keep getting bigger. But do they work?" which explores the effectiveness of MOOCs, Leopard questioned the growing acceptance of MOOCs by many in the fields of politics, education and journalism.  The Hechinger Report is a nonprofit, nonpartisan education-news outlet based at Columbia University's Teachers College. Its stories are carried by several major news outlets, including Time.com.
