Jillian Kurvers

Jillian Kurvers is a 2010 graduate of the Creative Nonfiction track at Saint Mary’s. She focused on writing personal essays about loathsome job experiences and the unsolicited life lessons one could glean. Since graduating, she’s had three different jobs, all vaguely to extremely writing based, none of which she’d categorize as loathsome. Currently, she is the Director of Content at a software company called Brightidea, which might seem like an odd place for a person with a fine arts degree.

nancy tengler

Nancy Tengler (creative nonfiction 2009) spent two decades as a professional investor. She is an author, financial-news commentator and university professor; her book, "The Women's Guide to Successful Investing," will be released by Palgrave Macmillan in August 2014.

jane gregory

Jane Gregory is from Tucson, Arizona and currently lives in Berkeley, California.  She has an MFA from The University of Iowa and is currently working towards a PhD at UC Berkeley.  Her first book, My Enemies, was published by The Song Cave in 2013.  Recent work is forthcoming in Critical Quarterly and The American Reader.

lysley tenorio

Lysley Tenorio is the author of the short story collection  Monstress. Tenorio is a former Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University and a former Steinbeck Fellow at San Jose State University. He has received fellowships from Phillips Exeter Academy, the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and the National Endowment for the Arts. He has held residencies at Yaddo and The MacDowell Colony, and in 2008 he received a Whiting Writers’ Award.
