2/6/11- No. 23 Saint Mary’s controlled face-offs and got goals from five players en route to a 10-7 win against Emory in an MCLA Division II game on Sunday. The game marked the end of a four-game Southern road trip for the Gaels.

2/4/11- No. 13 Savannah College of Art & Design defeated No. 23 Saint Mary’s, 9-5, on the Thursday in the season-opening game for SCAD.

Gaels set the record straight with a gritty performance against Santa Cruz winning 6-2

4-3-11The Gaels picked up another conference win Saturday as they handed the U.C. Santa Cruz Banana Slugs their first conference defeat in nearly 5 years. St. Mary’s would only score 6 total goals on the day, but a stingy defense held Santa Cruz to only 2 goals on 19 shots. Leading the way for the Gaels was Logan Magness with 3 goals, while teammate Daniel Podesta recorded 2 assists.

4/27/2010--Henry Graham '10, Joe Arnold '10, Jim Castilone '11, Matt Dini'10 & Christian Skuce '12 were announced as members of the 1st & 2nd all conference WCLL team.

4/27/2010-- SMC Head Coach Colin Knightly was recently announced as the 2010 WCLL Coach of the Year. This is Colin's second season with the SMC Gaels.

1/26/2010--Coming off their 2010 WCLL Championship. the Saint Mary’s Lacrosse team has received some notoriety as they enter the 2011 campaign. The Gaels have received a top 25 ranking in both MCLA Division II Preseason Polls.
