Creative Writing Professor Matthew Zapruder to Perform in Litquake's Annual Fundraiser Regreturature V: The Wrath of Taste

Some tickets still remain for Litquake's annual fundraiser Regreturature V: The Wrath of Taste, coming this Thursday, March 12, to the Verdi Club. Writers sharing their early, cringe-worthy, yet hilarious writings include the likes of Glen David Gold, Michelle Richmond, Paul Myers, Matthew Zapruder, Lyzette Wanzer, Manjula Martin, Mary Ladd, and Peter Hartlaub.

Our own Brenda Hillman, Olivia C. Filippi Professor of Poetry, will be one of several distinguished guests at the sold out  “Geography of Hope: Women and Land” conference March 13-14.

Brenda will be on a panel titled "What is the Work of a Writer in a Wounded World?"

2015 MFA Creative Writing Faculty Spotlight: Wesley Gibson (creative non-fiction)

Wesley Gibson is the author of the memoir You Are Here and the novels Shelter and Personal Saviors. His stories have appeared in The Village Voice and the Mississippi Review among other places, and his art criticism has appeared in The New Art Examiner.  He edits the literary journal Bloom. He is also the Faculty Director of the MFA Program in Creative Writing.
