Business and Challenges of Inequality Conference March 27 Soda Center

Inequality in societies arising from wide variations in access to resources has been linked with many social problems such as physical and mental illness, incarceration, fragmented families and communities, teenage pregnancies and a significant loss of potential talent in the workplace.

BUSINESS and THE CHALLENGES OF INEQUALITY

Elfenworks Center for Responsible Business at SMC invites everyone to a half day conference on March 27 at Soda Center.

Time 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Conference will consist of a plenary panel, breakout workshops and keynote "fireside chat" by Deputy Secretary of Labor, Chris Lu. Event free to SMC students, faculty and staff.  For more details and to RSVP click here.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that brings our campus community together for a chance to practice our core values through a fun filled event on April 18th, 2015.  

Ash Wednesday: Feb 18 Services

Ash Wednesday (Feb 18) services will take place at the following times:  1 pm (This is during community time and includes Liturgy of the Word outside of Mass and distrtribution of ashes), 5:15 pm (This is a Eucharisitic celebration hosted by the Brothers and includes the distribution of ashes), and 8 pm (This is a Eucharistic celebration celebration and includes the distribution of ashes).  All are welcome!
