The Center for Regional Economy's Business Idea Competition on March 4 in the Soda Center is your opportunity to practice pitching your unique business idea. Selected presenters will have an opportunity to work with industry expert coaches and further develop their idea and pitch before the competition.
On Saturday, February 22, from 8:30am to 1:00pm in the Saint Mary's College Soda Center, the Kalmanovitz School of Education will host a presentation by ESL educator, Jo Gusman, entitled, "Differentiated Strategies for Diverse Learners." At its January 14th meeting, Staff Council is introducing a new procedure for its open session from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Something on your mind? Attend the meeting and fill out an Open Forum Speaker Card. Take advantage of the opportunity to address the Council for 3 minutes on a topic or idea that is important to you or your department. The Council could decide to agendize your topic for a future meeting where it can be discussed in greater depth.

The Saint Mary’s Post Office, currently run by the United States Postal Service (USPS), will be taken over by the College as of February 1, 2014. This is due to fiscal challenges faced by the USPS. Along with this change the mail room of the College will be incorporated into the Campus Post Office.
The School of Economics and Business Administration (SEBA) will be hosting the Peer Review Team from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) on November 18-20 as part of their official accreditation review process. SEBA faculty, staff, students and alumni, as well as representatives of various campus offices, will be interviewed by the AACSB Peer Review Team during this time.
