Francis Gerard "Jerry" Fitzpatrick '42

Francis Gerard "Jerry" Fitzpatrick '42, a legendary figure at Saint Mary's and in Contra Costa County, died on Dec. 30, 2008. He was 89.

Saint Mary's inCircle also gives you access to Fortune 500 companies with job opportunities, SMC alumni and students in your area, professional field, exclusive events for SMC alums and the ability to connect with classmates, friends and business contacts. Best of all, this service is free for alumni.

Festival Continues a Tradition of Wine and Giving

Reserve Aug. 16 on your calendar now for the Summer Wine Festival, a fun and popular event that raises money for student scholarships. Last year's festival raised more than $10,000 for the Lasallian scholarship fund, and this year the scholarship needs are even greater.

This year, the festival will cost $25 for those who sign up before Aug. 1, and $30 for those who sign up later. Tickets for designated drivers will be $15.

Tomlinson Shines in Tough Season for Women's Basketball

Sophomore Louella Tomlinson was named WCC Defensive Player of the Year and a member of the All-WCC First Team. It was her second straight season of conference recognition, as she won WCC All-Freshman honors last season.

Former Gael Represents Canada in Baseball Classic

Mark Teahen '03, who plays third base for the Kansas City Royals, played for Team Canada in the World Baseball Classic in March.

Up-and-Down Year for the Gaels
