cable tv services
Comcast Cable provides Cable TV service to the residential buildings on campus. Basic service, as shown on the Channel Guide below, is provided to residents at no extra charge. Simply connect a cable ready TV or VCR to the cable jack in your room. If you desire Digital and/or Pay-per-View channels, then you must first establish an individual account with Comcast, sign up for the desired premium services and rent a digital set top box (for a nominal fee). The set top box must be picked up at the Comcast Cable walk-in offices in Walnut Creek or Pleasant Hill.
Service: St. Mary's College has no on-campus cable TV service staff. Comcast Cable provides all repair services. A direct local call center number has been set up for our service calls during business hours. If you have problems with your cable service, please call 800-984-2824. If you are asked for your phone number, tell them that you are at St. Mary's College, and you are listed by address. When you are asked for your address, tell them the street address of your residence hall (see below) and your room number. If they ask for city and zip code, tell them "Moraga, 94575." Please call before 7:30 PM, or leave a message for a call back the following day. Service call appointments are typically within 2 to 3 working days. After hours, only call the general service number, 800-945-2288, for outages that affect your whole residence hall or a larger area.

How to get there: The Walnut Creek Comcast walk-in office is at 1267 Arroyo Way in Walnut Creek. Take Highway 24 East to 680 North. Exit at Ygnacio Valley Road; turn right off the ramp. Follow Ygnacio Valley Rd. for a few blocks, then turn right onto Broadway. Turn left on to Arroyo Way. The office is mid-block between Civic and Broadway.
The Pleasant Hill Comcast walk-in office is near Sun Valley Mall at 1300 Contra Costa Blvd. in Pleasant Hill. Take Highway 24 East to 680 North. Exit at Willow Pass Road. Turn left on Willow Pass Road, drive past Sun Valley Mall and turn left again on to Contra Costa Blvd. At the next traffic light turn left on to Ellenwood, and turn left again almost immediately into the parking lot of the small strip mall on the corner of Contra Cost Blvd. and Ellenwood, where the Comcast Cable office is located.
