The College's Web Services group has general web development responsiblities for the SMC community, including:
- Developing and maintaining the College's extrenal website (www.stmarys-ca.edu) and internal community site, SMCnet (smcnet.stmarys-ca.edu)
- Creating and designing web pages for academic and administrative departments
- Regularly updating and editing web pages as requested by departments
- Providing programming services for interactive web-delivered applications
- Consulting faculty and staff regarding optimizing their online presence
- Providing oversight for web design style, usabilty and web technology choices
CaTS provides for the overall management of the personal web servers. The Webmaster processes requests for personal web space.
