Engagement Marketing - Build Relationships to Grow Success
Graduate and Professional Studies at Saint Mary's College and Constant Contact team up to provide a seminar on The Power of Engagement Marketing presented by Karen Rice, Constant Contact's Regional Development Director. Immediately following the seminar, there will be refreshments and the opportunity to learn more about Saint Mary's educational programs for adult learners from our staff who will be on hand. There will be a nominal charge of $10 to register for the event. (Attendance is FREE for SMC staff, faculty and students. Contact Jane Joyce at jj2@@stmarys-ca.edu.)
Building lasting relationships with your existing customers and members drives success. Making that happen is called Engagement Marketing. Having such a strategy is the key to inspiring your most passionate customers and advocates to have conversations with you and others, share stories and opinions, and share your content with their own social circle. In this seminar, you’ll discover the three components that lead to Engagement Marketing success:
- Providing an excellent customer experience,
- Making connections that engage your audience and enable an ongoing dialog, and
- Using social media to continue the dialog and engage a broader audience.
Come see models of how other small businesses, non-profit associations, and organizations combine email marketing, social media, "mobile" and other online marketing tools in order to build connections, monitor feedback, share interesting content and drive success. Best practices and great hints and tips will be shared.
Karen Rice is the Regional Development Director for Constant Contact in Northern California. She has more than 20 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations, companies and government agencies developing and implementing successful marketing, event management and public relations campaigns. A former small business owner herself, Karen understands both how easy it is for marketing activities to fall to the bottom of a to-do list and how important it is to make time for the things that work; email marketing works. Her practical approach to teaching email and social media marketing best practices is highly prescriptive and designed with the busy entrepreneur in mind.
