The Sunflower Blooms

The solid gold sun shines recycled light
We mimic exactly
The sun is the only seat on a merry-go-round
We feel the joy

When the sun is down
And the moon is up
Sadness blocks our path

And when we dry up, collapse and die
We rise to the sky
And our mother.
