Participants will learn:
- Practical skills such as how to ask effective questions, interview reluctant witnesses,
interview the accused, assess credibility, reaching a conclusion, documentation, and disclosure of
- Special issues pertaining to Title IX investigations relating to confidentiality, special needs for reluctant witnesses in sexual assault investigations, burden of proof; and
- How to prepare and utilize all of the necessary documentation which is needed as part of an investigation.
